Secure U-shape flip-top head

When you apply 12 tons of pressure, you want absolutely zero flex in your tool. The cordless hydraulic crimping tool ED-400U features a U-shape head with a locking latch pin. You simply pull the pin, flip the head open, insert your cable and lug, and lock it securely closed. This closed-loop design ensures the dies stay perfectly aligned under extreme pressure, preventing the metal flash or distorted crimps that can happen with open-jaw tools.

Fast 20mm short-stroke cycle

Time is money on a job site. Because the U-shape head holds the cable securely in place, the tool only requires a short 20mm piston stroke to complete the crimp. This means the ED-400U works incredibly fast, completing a full crimping cycle in just 4 to 12 seconds.

Automated pressure release

You never have to guess if the crimp is tight enough. You simply press the trigger, and the tool does the heavy lifting. Once the internal sensor detects that the perfect 120KN pressure is reached, the automatic safety valve immediately releases the oil, and the piston retracts on its own. This guarantees a consistent, safe, and solid electrical joint every single time.

Weighing around 6.2 kg, the ED-400U is surprisingly easy to handle for a heavy-duty tool. The grip is ergonomically designed with anti-slip rubber, reducing hand fatigue during long shifts and providing excellent balance when working inside tight switchboard cabinets.
